As if his arthritis wasn't causing him enough discomfort, Jericho has been attacked by another horse!

1. He no longer has the energy to defend himself

Jericho is already 26 years old. Age is gradually sapping his energy and wearing him down.

He now suffers from arthritis, and we even had to bring in an osteopath to provide him with at least a modicum of relief.

Recently, he was attacked by one of our newest arrivals. Cornered, he didn't dare to defend himself, and let himself be completely bullied. We had to separate them, but he still remains vulnerable...

2. Pellets would help us feed him

Due to his age, Jericho finds it harder to eat than before. And he needs a much higher intake of pellets. They're easier for him to eat, provide more energy... and they are crucial, especially since we're running short on everything!

3. Our budget is no longer keeping pace

We only have one hectare of meadow for all our horses. As a result, they need to be fed on hay all year round. But the cost of hay has soared! Our budget is under such strain that we have to choose which veterinary care is most urgent, for lack of being able to cover all the costs…
