Babydoll can scratch herself to the point of bleeding due to the intense itching, something which must be avoided at all costs.

1. We must protect her from herself

Every year, Babydoll goes through a period of dermatitis. Her skin itches so much that she doesn't just scratch herself: she persists until she bleeds!

We try our best to soothe her. We also watch her closely when she's having a flare-up. Sometimes, it's barely enough...

2. Pellets would help feed her

To properly care for Babydoll, we need pellets. They will enable us to better monitor her diet, and therefore impact her health. They will also provide her with energy, which will help her fight her illness!

3. Our budget cannot keep up

We only have a hectare of meadow for all our horses. They need to be fed hay throughout the year. But, the price of hay has sky-rocketed! Our budget is suffering so much that we're forced to choose which veterinary treatments are most urgent, as we can't afford them all...
