Hit by a car, poor Perle was left with severe injuries and now limps...

1. She was injured in an accident and hasn't fully recovered...

Perle is a five-year-old cat that we found by the side of the road two years ago, having just been hit by a car. Her tendons were damaged, her legs fractured and her hips were also affected.

We treated her, but she still has lingering effects: she limps and can no longer run. Because she moves so little, she is very thin.

2. Suitable canned food would help her regain her strength

Rich in quality proteins and vitamins, canned food would provide Perle with an energy boost each day. Such a food source would help her regain better condition. It would also be an opportunity for her to put on some weight.

3. We don't receive any subsidies...

We have been running the association since 2011, and currently care for around fifty animals, many of which are sick cats. We have only three volunteers to handle everything, including financial aspects.

Without subsidies and with only limited assistance for sterilisation and animal identification, we often have to dig into our personal finances to feed the cats... But with inflation, we won't be able to continue like this for long!
