1. She has a damaged paw!

Koukla is a 13-year-old dog who has come from Greece. Over there, she was unable to avoid a trap in the forest and, sadly, one of her paws sustained irreversible damage...

2. She has a brain tumour...

Koukla has a brain tumour that is becoming increasingly larger. Unfortunately, surgery is not an option and she now has only a few months to live. As she does not seem to be suffering, we would like to support her as best we can in her final period of life.

3. Canned food would lift her spirits greatly

The moist and soft texture of canned foods would be much easier for Koukla to eat than dry foods. Such high-quality, appetising food would encourage her to maintain a regular eating schedule, which would provide her with a great deal of comfort.

4. The year is ending as badly as it started...

As this year draws to a close, our difficulties are piling up: recurring cold waves, a shortage of donations, nearly fruitless fundraising drives... We have reached a point where we can't even tell if we'll be able to carry on!

It is a necessity for us to continue since we have taken in new animals from other associations that have had to close their doors. We cannot abandon the 97 dogs that rely on us!
