Chami is a cat of around ten years old, who lives in a foster family. Poor Chami suffers from chronic gastrointestinal problems, which have prevented her from being adopted. She has persistent diarrhoea, despite various treatments.
The only solution that has shown effectiveness to soothe her symptoms is a special gastrointestinal diet, which we unfortunately cannot afford to buy again!
Food specially formulated for intestinal trouble could provide Chami with the nutrients she needs at her age, while being gentle on her digestive system.
Such a diet would help stabilise her intestinal problems and could improve her quality of life. She could experience a happy old age, and might even get adopted!
Our association, located in Carcassonne, is committed to feeding 250 stray cats, in addition to those we have in foster care. With the rising prices, regular supermarket food collections are no longer sufficient to cover our needs...
We are noticing a drop in donations and are confronted with the inability to buy appropriate food for the most vulnerable cats, as the cost of food has almost doubled!
