Carmina's 40 dogs won't make it longer by eating bread... We must save them!
We visited her in her Romania shelter on April 26th.
The 40 dogs of Carmina's shelter in Romania are in danger, their bread based diet will kill them: many already died!
Carmina is alone fighting against animal cruelty: neither the government nor the foundations have agreed to help her.
Worse still, she is constantly threatened by her neighbors, very hostile to the existence of her shelter.
We want to save her dogs by sending kibble to Carmina's shelter!

1) The 40 dogs welcomed at the shelter are too weak to survive a bread based diet... Some of them already died!
Violently hit by a car, Mint was too weak to survive his injuries: the bread diet did not allow him to regain enough strength ... He died late March.
Pufy died of a heart attack late March...
Blue died in January, he wasn't strong enough to survive his disease...

5) Constantly threatened by her neighbours, Carmina fights alone to save street dogs ...
Carmina's shelter is made of bricks and jugs ...
Due to lack of resources, Carmina set up this makeshift shelter on a land owned by her family. Thanks to her salary and her husband's, she manages to keep it as is.
But here it is: the neighbours do not support the fight of Carmina and even want to see the shelter close, leaving the dogs to the street.
Despite her attempts to calm down things, Carmina has to deal with their daily threats, which may cause the shelter to close at any moment.
6) Neither the government nor the foundations want to help Carmina: in debt, she can not buy kibbles anymore!
The boxes are not in good condition, but Carmina can not afford to restore them.
The constant threats of her neighbours push Carmina to be very discreet, but it is difficult for her to appeal to the foundations in these conditions ... The French association Remember Me France gives her support and tries to get her dogs adopted so that she can offer them a better life and welcome other stray dogs.
Meanwhile, Carmina accumulates debts with veterinarians and kibbles suppliers ... Overwhelmed, she wants to push away as much as possible the moment when she will have to choose between looking after the dogs and feeding them: she gives them bread while waiting to be able to buy kibble again with her own salary.

Carmina's husband is a veterinarian at Mircea clinic in Bucharest. Both their salaries finance the stray dog surgeries found by Carmina: often abused and severely injured, no one ever offers to pay for the expensive care of these abandoned animals.
If Carmina and her husband struggle to offer these dogs an unexpected second chance, it is often difficult to keep up the pace financially: how to choose between feeding or caring for them? An infernal puzzle that pushed them to ask us for help! If we send them kibbles, their budget will be lightened and they will be able to continue to save dogs in danger.

This collection is organized by Remember Me France association, the 2400 kilos will be delivered to Carmina to feed the 40 dogs welcomed at her shelter.
