Brayoute is a two-year-old cat who recently arrived with an injured front right paw. One of his paw pads is nicked, which is very painful. It is impossible to know what's happened...
Brayoute has unfortunately a calicivirus. The disease causes micro lesions in his mouth and ulcers on his tongue. He is in so much pain that he can't eat kibble anymore!
Wet and soft canned food would be less painful for him to have in the mouth and ingest than kibble. Brayoute, who is still young, would be able to regain his strength without being in too much pain.
Our association has been in existence for a little more than a year. At the moment, it is not easy: we receive some donations, but not enough to allow us to buy food for all the stray cats and the more vulnerable ones that we take care of.
