Guise is a 31-year-old mare whom we recently took in because her owner could no longer care for her.
Old age has unfortunately left her toothless, which hinders her ability to eat. She also struggles with mobility due to joint problems in her hip...
To keep up her energy levels despite her lack of teeth, Guise could really benefit from pellets. Once soaked, they would be much easier for her to ingest, allowing her to replenish her energy daily.
We have many older animals needing supplement care. In total, about a hundred lambs and sheep, fifty goats, along with cats, dogs and horses rely on us. That's a huge number of mouths to feed!
