Suffering from dwarfism, the little Kokocalin has a series of health issues!

1. His dwarfism poses multiple challenges…

Kokocalin is a pony, born in 2020, suffering from dwarfism. Merely standing at 60 cm at the withers, he grapples with significant dental issues along with malformations in his hind legs. Entrusted to our association at the tender age of one to receive appropriate care, he now lives in a paddock with 24/7 access to a stall. He is consistently monitored by an equine dentist and a podiatrist.

2. The pellet soup is crucial to his diet

Due to his dental troubles, Kokocalin can't chew properly. Thus, he is fed solely on a diet of pellet soup, the only food he can swallow without difficulty. This adapted diet allows him to receive all the nutrients needed for his growth despite his multiple challenges.

3. Early drought puts our association in grave difficulty…

Summer has barely begun and the pastures are already devoid of grass! We must start using our stock of hay and pellets, initially reserved for winter, without delay. With 40 equines under our care, a full shelter, and mounting veterinary bills, we find ourselves in a critical situation. Donations and adoptions are both on a decline. Without your help, we won't be able to replenish our stocks for winter!
