1. In Morocco, the 120 dogs of the shelter are without kibble. If no one does anything, they will starve to death!
"We are in the middle of a crisis, especially with the pandemic. We keep on rescuing new animals, and we're doing everything we can to feed them, but we need help. Please, please, I'm looking forward to your help."
2. Some of the dogs are living in packs, once there is no food left, the dominant ones will kill the weakest, it is an instinctive phenomenon that we see in case of famine

"If this food action fails, there will be no more rescue. Without donations, without kibble, we can't move forward, knowing that we don't receive any government or international aid. With the lockdown and state of siege, the restaurants closing, street dogs will starve to death."
5. The whole country is under lockdown, abandonments are increasing, adoptions are on hold: Hind is overwhelmed
"The tragedy and the worst part is that we end up with dogs abandoned because of the virus. Just yesterday, a mother with three puppies was reported to us. Despite the state of alert, we hurried to save them. And with the current situation, there are no more adoptions."
6. No more food, no more donations, markets that have shut down... It's impossible for Hind to buy kibble!
"I'm trying to deal with the situation, hardly. Even to buy chicken carcasses, the markets are being closed down, it's a really tricky situation. The agents are afraid of being contaminated, there are police roadblocks to go through for every trip. Even to feed the street dogs, I have to give a licence."

"We're lacking food, medicine, donations are dropping. We're facing a shortage in a very short time."

13. Restrictions related to lockdown did not allow us to visit the shelter for this action
Due to the current health crisis, Morocco has been placed in lockdown since March 20. As movements have been drastically reduced and controlled, it was impossible for us to visit the shelter to prepare this action.
However, Animal Webaction has been visiting Hind's shelter many times over the past two years, including this winter. We are in close contact with Hind, who has allowed us to prepare this collection, and in whom we place all our trust.
