Felix lives outside even though he is old and disabled...

1. He limps...

Felix is a roughly 10-year-old cat who had injured one of his hind legs. As it was inoperable, the wound healed on its own, but now Felix limps. He was in convalescence for three months, but he didn't bear living indoors at all.

2. He lives outdoors!

Too wild to live in a house, Felix had to be released onto a secure site. However, there aren't enough shelters there for all the cats present. As Felix is old and handicapped, he has difficulty asserting himself among the others and constantly ends up without a shelter.

3. Blankets would keep him warm

With a set of blankets, Felix wouldn't need to sleep directly on the cold, damp ground. The fleece material would effectively help retain his body heat, helping him get through the winter more comfortably.
