Poor Sandie has had both her eyes gouged out!

1. She is totally blind!

Sandie is a two-year-old cat, who was found on a feeding site with both eyes gouged out, with no knowledge of what happened to her.

She now lives indoors and has learned to find her bearings, but any change can disorientate her and make her bump into things! As her eyes were not removed, we have to clean them morning and evening and apply ointment regularly to avoid infections.

2. Canned food would help her regain her strength

A wet and easily consumable diet would allow Sandie to maintain a good physical condition, despite her visual impairment. It would be a great way for her to stay hydrated while getting a daily intake of good nutrients.

3. We can’t cope anymore!

Our association's situation has become so critical that we are desperate! A majority of our cats are elderly and require care, sleeping boxes, blankets, and suitable canned food.

All of this is particularly costly. With over 120 animals to manage, we've ended up in debt... We can't see a light at the end of the tunnel!
