Lya had to undergo emergency surgery after her neck abscess burst!

1. She was found with a large abscess on her neck that had just burst...

Lya is a cat of around five years old, who was found at a feeding site with a burst abscess on her neck. The wound was enormous!

We therefore had her urgently operated on, and then put on antibiotics, in order to prevent the scar from getting infected. She is currently convalescing, in a foster home.

2. Blankets would provide her with a cosy place to rest

Since her surgery, Lya needs more rest than the other mogs. A set of fresh blankets would be perfect to help her better retain her body heat when she sleeps. Her sleep would be all the more replenishing!

3. Donations are virtually non-existent...

We have virtually no donations, and have had to pay for treatment out of pocket. We therefore don't have enough money to buy more food and blankets! Unfortunately, we are running out of our stocks...
