Weakened by digestive problems, poor Sherpa struggles to survive outdoors!

1. He's exhausted from chronic diarrhoea!

Sherpa is a four-year-old cat who is suffering from severe diarrhoea. The treatment we are giving him is starting to work a little, but he remains very weak. He lacks weight, hardly moves, and spends most of his time lying down...

2. He has nowhere to shelter...

Unfortunately, Sherpa lives outdoors, in the countryside, on farmland. On-site, he has no real place to shelter: the polystyrene boxes we had put out are now waterlogged...

3. He will need specialised canned food to effectively regain his strength

A wet, gastrointestinal diet would be ideal for Sherpa. Easy to digest and rich in nutrients, this type of canned food would help him regain some weight while relieving his weakened intestines.

4. We are limited by our small means!

With the onset of winter, many of our wards have fallen ill. Treating them has been costly, so much so that we no longer have the means to purchase for them the specialised food, blankets and shelters they need!
