1. Illness is inhibiting her appetite...

Saba is a three-year-old cat who was abandoned by her owners because she is suffering from chronic illness. Poor Saba has a chronic case of calicivirus, which causes inflammation in her gums and has led to some of her teeth falling out. Eating has become a struggle for her, so she is thin and frail...

2. Canned food would help her regain weight

To replenish her with all the necessary nutrients, Saba needs a complete, moist diet. Easy to swallow, canned cat food would provide her with the means to regain weight and stay well-hydrated despite her illness.

3. Donations are insufficient...

The moggies we've recently taken in require a specific diet that is unfortunately beyond our means.
