Feline AIDS, gingivitis, weight loss: poor Guilou is very weak...

1. He's suffering from severe oral issues!

Guilou is an 8-year-old cat, who is a carrier of feline AIDS (FIV). Since his immune defences are weakened, he has developed a significant gingivitis that isn't healing despite the care provided. His pain is preventing him from eating normally and has caused him to lose a lot of weight!

We relieve him by regularly giving him cortisone injections, but he remains skinny and fragile.

2. Canned food would help him eat without pain

Wet food would be much easier for Guilou to swallow than kibble. Nutrient-rich canned food would help him regain strength while reducing the pain associated with his gingivitis.

3. We're overwhelmed!

We have had numerous births of kittens recently, which has brought the number of animals our association has to manage up to 30. Unfortunately, this exceeds our capacity to feed them, which is why we need your help!
