1. He struggles a lot to eat...

Louis is a cat of around seven years, who we found extremely thin at a feeding site. He has FIV, he also has calicivirus and has lost several teeth.

Despite painkiller injections, eating has become very difficult for him because of the inflammation in his mouth and throat...

2. He has chronic cat flu...

Being vulnerable on an immune level, Louis has also caught a cat flu which doesn't seem to be getting better. Every time he's stressed or tired he struggles to breathe, his nose is blocked and his appetite is low...

3. He is going to need canned food to keep going

An easily digestible diet like canned cat food would be more suitable for Louis than dry food. This way, he could easily boost his energy daily, which would help his body to fight the different viruses.

4. We are stuck!

Currently, we are managing 44 toms, many of which are sick kittens or old cats. Between our veterinary debt and donations that have significantly dropped, we can't keep up any longer!
