1. His kidneys aren't working properly...

Roméo is a black and white cat of 6 years, taken care of by our charity. He is suffering from kidney failure: his kidneys are no longer capable of properly eliminating toxins, which weakens his entire system. His condition requires constant monitoring and regular care.

2. Renal canned food would preserve his kidneys on a daily basis

For Roméo, a diet adapted to his kidney failure is vital. Canned food, naturally rich in water, provides the hydration that his weakened kidneys desperately need. Its specific formulation allows to limit the filtration work imposed on his kidneys, while maintaining his appetite despite the fatigue of his body.

3. The charity relies on the shoulders of just one person...

We currently have over 35 cats in our care, including approximately fifteen kittens. The charity almost entirely relies on a single volunteer, who works on the side to meet her own needs. Here, in a rural environment, adoptions of adult cats have been stagnant for two or three years. Veterinary costs are accumulating, donations are almost non-existent, and our resources are depleting: we need help more than ever.
