Last July, the town hall announced catastrophic news for the dogs trapped in Orastie's pound: the facility will soon close its doors, all dogs will be euthanized!
In emergency, several associations including Maria's try to save all the dogs from this hell. But once all the dogs were gathered at Maria's shelter, the pound was full again ...
This euthanasia blackmail is very difficult to manage for animal welfare associations. Because they are afraid that these threats might come true, they are forced to be victims of the government manipulation ...

Unfortunately, the latest delivery offered by the Animal Webaction community is not enough to offset the sudden increase in the number of dogs hosted at the shelter. Maria has no choice but to ask us for help, or the dogs may not survive hunger!
4) The Government doesn't help Maria and other associations can't help anymore: there is no money to buy kibble!
Rescuing the dogs from the public shelter has been possible thanks to donations.
The dogs have been saved, but today the shelter has nothing to feed them!
To save all the pound's dogs threatened with euthanasia, the association had to appeal to other French ones: thanks to organization and the donations made by generous people, dogs are out of danger.
But donations were not enough to buy kibble. The stock will be empty very soon and the associations no longer have the necessary funds to help Maria!

Maria's commitment to animal welfare goes back to many years, and she is the president of Lupy association from almost 10 years old now.
She had a career, a personal life and was a volunteer for years, but she recently retired. To better invest in her volunteer activities, she took another job almost immediately after retiring: an absolute necessity to meet the needs of stray animals.
