The improvements made in the shelter has reduced the number of fights but emptied the association funds...
Nobody's Dog France no longer has the means to buy kibble, they ask us for help!
1) Diseases, fights: Several dogs from the shelter died this month. Without kibbles, the survivors won't spend the winter ...
Abused, Samuel was in a catastrophic health state. Despite the care he received, he did not survive ...
Ino succumbed to a deadly fight last night ...
Kalina was so weak and hungry when she arrived at the shelter that unfortunately she did not survive ...

When street dogs arrive at Becej shelter, they are often traumatized by abuse, hunger and difficult living conditions of the streets of Serbia. Despite all the volunteers' efforts to make their lives easier, the dogs undeniably have a fragile health.
The dogs live in community at the shelter, and when fights are triggered, some of them do not survive ... The situation is already tense within the shelter since the boxes reached their maximum capacity. If it were to lack kibble, hunger would make dogs lose their heads and fights could multiply!
In addition, with winter approaching, dogs with diseases would not survive negative temperatures on an empty stomach!
2) We visited Becej's shelter on August 26: in a week, dogs will no longer have kibble, they will kill each other!
The previous Animal Webaction collection of kibble has been exhausted since last May ...
Since then, the association has been able to raise funds to buy kibble, but the stock is soon exhausted: there will be nothing left in a few days!
Bowls will soon be empty...
The French association Nobody's Dog France is very supportive of Becej's shelter. Unfortunately, the last fundraiser did not allow them to buy more kibble, in a few days the stock will be empty ... Dogs may eat bread, this diet is dangerous for their health!
3) The shelter's improvements emptied ruined the association: there is no more money to buy kibble!
The dogs were living in the mud ... Work was needed!
Dogs are sensitive to their environment, fights were numerous when they lived in the mud!
The shelter has been improved thanks to donors ! Today dogs live in a healthy environment!
When the dogs lived in the mud, many fights were happening... Some of them were deadly!
To stop this slaughter, the association Nobody's Dog France has taken the decision to undertake a colossal work. Thanks to the donors, this project has finally taken shape!
If the dogs are happier under these conditions, they must still be properly fed: the works have unfortunately emptied the fund of the association, there is more to buy kibble!
4) The boxes have reached their maximum capacity: dogs are anxious and fight! Without kibbles the situation may worsen ...

5) If we don't reach the target, dogs won't receive any food

We can take action, we have already booked a truck and pallets, but we have to pay it before September 1rst.
If the collection fails, we will not be able to pay, the departure of the truck will be cancelled and none of the collected kibbles will be delivered...
If the collection fails, we will refund all donors.
6) Neither the government nor the foundations help Kristina, and the only French association that supports her can no longer buy kibble ...
The volunteers try to collect medical products every time they are going to the shelter.

Nobody's Dog France and Kristina are alone: neither the government nor the foundations support them!
To get by and pay for all the expenses involved in running a shelter of this size, collecting donations via social networks is the only solution they have found, but it is not sustainable and very precarious!

8) Without Kristina's devotion, dogs would be living in hell!

Kristina knows all the dogs, she is completely devoted.

Kristina has been a volunteer at Becej Public Shelter for 10 years. At that time the situation was catastrophic! When the association Nobody's Dog France decided to save the dogs of Becej, she offered a salary to Kristina who can now fully devote herself to the dogs!
The employees of the pound are not examples of gentleness and kindness, Kristina now watches over! Since the creation of the partnership between Nobody's Dog France and Kristina, the dogs' state of health have greatly improved!
An important team work is engaged, a mobilization of every day which unfortunately is not enough supported to be able to feed all the dogs ... We can help them by sending them kibble!
9) In Serbia, 100,000 street dogs are hunted down by dogcatchers to be killed or trapped in killing pounds
It is estimated that Serbia has about 100,000 stray dogs. Private companies were commissioned in 2012 to capture these dogs: their dogcatchers (the name given to the employees responsible for the capture) have been operating throughout the country since then.
Receiving bonuses for each dog captured, dogcatchers hunt dogs relentlessly, and use extremely violent capture techniques. Many dogs are killed, the others end up crammed into killing pounds, without care or food.
Volunteers believe that their actions, in addition to being cruel, do not have a beneficial impact on the volume of stray dogs in the country. Worse still, they greatly undermine the beneficial actions that have existed until now: the subsidies allocated since 2007 as part of a vast national sterilization program have been drastically cut, despite encouraging results when they were carried out....
10) What will the 3000 kilos of kibble be used for ?
This collection is organized by Nobody's Dog France association, chaired by Lydia. The 3000 kg of kibbles collected will be delivered to Kristina to feed the 240 dogs of the shelter
