Cacahuète is 12 years old. He was found, alone, in the forest. He was very weak...

2. His abscesses deform his neck

Cacahuète has a heart condition.

But it's his mouth that worries us the most: we have his rotten teeth removed, but he has serious problems with his salivary glands. These cause abscesses that deform his neck. We are obliged to anaesthetize him and drain him regularly!

3. Canned food would allow him to eat

Cacahuète is in great need of getting his strength back. Without teeth, and weakened, he needs food that is adapted to his state. Canned food will finally allow him to eat!

4. We are in a stranglehold

Abandonment cases have resumed and our veterinary expenses have been increasing accordingly. Especially since we only take in old dogs that nobody wants anymore... and that often need a lot of care!
