Stella was at a fair where she was going to be sold for her meat!

1. She was going to be sold for her meat...

Stella is a donkey of only 3 or 4 years old, that we recovered on a cattle fair. Despite the fact that she is very young (and still very skinny), she was going to be sold by the kilos to make donkey sausage... We saved her from this sad fate by taking her in.

2. Pellets would help her to recover

Not big enough, Stella will need to regain her strength with pellets. Such a food source would give her all the vitamins she needs to get through the summer and its heat waves.

3. This is a really difficult time...

We have been able to resume activities with schools, but we won't be able to hold any other events before Christmas! Faced with reduced means, we had to fall back on more affordable hay, but of lesser quality. Without help or subsidies, times are hard!
