1. He is blind because of a disease...

Pirate is an 8-year-old cat, who contracted coryza when he was little. The disease damaged his eyes so much at that time that he lost his sight. Even though he has been cured since then, he still has to live with a handicap...

2. His gums are inflamed and hurt!

Pirate also suffers from chronic gingivitis. Inflamed and painful, his gums prevent him from chewing. We give him antibiotics periodically, to calm his symptoms a little.

3. Adapted canned food would allow him to eat without too much pain

With canned food with a foamy texture specially designed for cats with mouth problems, Pirate could regain his strength more easily. He would be in much less pain than eating kibble.

4. It's a disaster!

Our association is over-solicited: we are called from everywhere, but we can't take care of all the cats. Time and resources are desperately lacking... We are in great difficulty!
