In addition to being very skinny, Cracotte was traumatized by her abandonment...

1. She was traumatized...

Abandoned when she was not even two months old, Cracotte was scared to death of humans. She spent her time hiding, and stayed as alert as possible in order not to get caught. After having been with us for a year now, she is just starting to trust again...

2. She is very skinny !

Cracotte eats a lot, but she is very skinny. She doesn't suffer from any pathology that could explain her physical condition. So we have to persevere by giving her the best possible food!

3. Canned food would help her reach a normal weight

With palatable and nutritious food, Cracotte could gain some weight. She would then finally reach a correct weight, and could perhaps be more serene!

4. Subsidies have dropped significantly!

At the moment, we are doing as well as we can, but times are hard: the town hall has significantly reduced our subsidies. The months of quarantine have not helped... We are really in a bind!

Nowadays, there are fewer tourists, so we have fewer customers in our shop, whose funds would have gone to cats in need. Outside support would help us a lot!
