A tumour in his ear, pain in his eye, damaged teeth: poor Rouroux was in a pitiful state!

1. A tumor in his ear had to be removed...

Rouroux is a cat of about 14 years old, who was found near a garden center. He was reported to us because he seemed to suffer from an eye condition...

After veterinary examinations, it turned out that Rouroux had a polyp (a benign tumour) in his ear. It was therefore removed, as well as some teeth that were damaged.

2. He now has to take medication for life!

Rouroux must now take anti-inflammatory drugs for the rest of his life. We also have to apply a daily ointment on his eye, to relieve some of the pain.

3. Senior canned food would give him back his strength

With canned food adapted to senior cats, Rouroux could regain his energy without having to use his remaining teeth. It would also make it easier for him to take his anti-inflammatory medication.

4. Subsidies have dropped significantly!

At the moment, we are doing what we can, but times are hard: the town hall has significantly reduced our subsidies. The months of quarantine have not helped... We are really in a bind!

Nowadays, there are fewer tourists, so we have fewer customers in our shop, whose funds would have gone to cats in need. Outside support would help us a lot!
