Rouquin is a cat suffering from calicivirus. As his gums are inflamed, he has difficulties eating. The inside of his mouth is so painful that he can't chew his food anymore...

This problem comes back from time to time: when he is in too much pain, we give him antibiotic capsules in his food. Unfortunately, we can't afford to pay for his treatment and a special diet.

2. With canned food, he could take his medicine and have a chance to heal

Less difficult to eat than kibble, canned food would allow Rouquin to regain his strength. It would also make it easier for him to take his medicine, which would give him an extra chance to get better.
