Indra is a three-and-a-half-month-old kitten, who we found in the crawl space of a hospital, when she was only a few days old. Her mother was not with her, so we bottle-fed her.
The place was full of dust and dirty, which caused Indra to get pink eye. The poor thing had pus in her eyes, which were all stuck together...
Indra had ringworm and scabies when we found her. Since then we have been giving her all the care she needs, but it is hard to get rid of these parasites and fungus. Indra is very tired from all this!
With kitten food, Indra would have plenty of energy. This would help her a lot while waiting to be cured, and would allow her not to fall behind in her growth.
The kittens we take care of have almost all been affected by scabies and ringworm. We have been treating them for more than a month now to relieve them. But all this is very expensive! We can't afford to buy food for them anymore!
