Under-nourished and condemned to slaughter, Vic lost her filly at birth...

1. She was going to the slaughterhouse!

Vic is a 15-year-old shetland who on her way to the slaughterhouse when she was pregnant. So we took her in, hoping to save her and her unborn baby...

2. Her filly did not survive...

Before we took her in, Vic had a considerable lack of food throughout her gestation. This under-nutrition unfortunately caused the death of her filly...and made her very skinny.

3. Pellets would allow her to regain her strength

In order to regain her condition, Vic will need pellets. Such food would help her fill up with vitamins, which she has cruelly lacked until now.

4. We are struggling to make ends meet!

It is very difficult for our association to make ends meet at the moment. The last collection in store did not work (we only collected two bags of grain). In these conditions, feeding all our residents has become a real challenge!
