Gypsy was abandoned without food or water for a whole year !

1. She had no water or food!

Tzigane is a 12-year-old mare that we took in following a judicial seizure. She had been abandoned for a year, without food or water, even though she was pregnant...

2. She is blind in one eye

Gypsy is unfortunately blind in one eye. As her field of vision is reduced by half, everything is more complicated for her on a daily basis.

3. She is handicapped in her hind legs...

We don't know if it's an accident or a birth defect, but Tzigane is handicapped in her hind legs.

Her legs are weakened, which can lead to falls or arthritis... The fact that she is expecting a foal does not help!

4. Pellets would allow her to gain strength

To stay in shape and be in good condition during foaling, Tzigane will need pellets. Rich in vitamins, they will help her fill up with energy every day. If she manages to maintain a good muscle mass, maybe her leg problem can be stabilized.

5. We are having a hard time making ends meet!

It is very difficult for our association to make ends meet at the moment. The last store collection did not work out (we only collected two bags of grain). In these conditions, feeding all our residents has become a real challenge!
