Salem has a disease that can totally destroy his immune system...

1. He is abandoned!

Salem is a one-year-old-cat, who has unfortunately been abandoned. The person who was feeding him has moved away. So the poor guy is all alone, without anyone to take care of him.

2. A disease puts his health in great danger...

Salem has leukemia. Even though he is not yet symptomatic, the disease can strike at any time. It will then destroy his immune defenses slowly, exposing him to diseases and viruses from which he will not be able to recover. His body will become increasingly weakened...

In order to properly care for Salem, we would like to catch him and place him in a secure area. This would also allow him not to contaminate the cats that are not vaccinated against this disease.

3. With canned food, we could catch him and put him in a safe place

Appetizing canned food would arouse Salem's interest and help us build his confidence to catch him. We would then take him to a place where he could be looked after. He would of course continue to receive quality food, to build up his strength for the day.

4. We are completely overwhelmed by the number of kittens we have to take care of!

It's difficult, because there are so many kittens this year (almost 30, in addition to the 200 adult cats we take care of). We can't find enough foster families, and it's very complicated to get them adopted...

So we will need help to buy food for all the cats that rely on us.
