Exhausted by breastfeeding her babies, Ama has lost a lot of weight!

1. Nursing her kittens took all her strength...

Ama is one and a half year old, we found her on a wasteland with 7 kittens, that were about ten days old. They were on the edge of the highway, and could have been run over at any moment!

Taking care of them and feeding them made Ama very tired, and she is now very skinny...

2. With canned food, she could gain weight

Canned food would help Ama fill up on nutrients regularly. This would give her a chance to get back to a normal weight, and be in better shape, now that her kittens are weaned.

3. We are completely overwhelmed by the number of kittens we have to take care of!

It's difficult, because there are so many kittens this year (almost 30, in addition to the 200 adult cats we take care of). We can't find enough foster families, and it's very complicated to get them adopted...

So we will need help to buy food for all the cats that rely on us.
