Caught in a trap, poor Happy had to have a paw amputated!

1. He was injured in a trap!

Happy is a 4 months old kitten, that we found in the street. He was injured in one paw, after being caught in a trap...

2. The vet was forced to amputate his paw...

As Happy's injured paw was in very bad condition, the vet had to amputate it. So Happy has only three paws left. He is now in convalescence, where he will have to learn to live with this new handicap.

3. Canned food would help him get his strength back

To get his energy back after his operation, Happy will need a protein-rich food. Canned food for kittens would help him to gain strength daily, and to continue his growth in spite of everything.

4. The crisis has caused a wave of abandonment and a drop in donations!

Our association has a huge workload: there are many abandonments, many kittens without family and therefore many more mouths to feed. Financially, the situation has become very complicated.

Before, we were able to take care of and feed the cats in need, because we had donations. But since last year, we receive less and less... We don't know how to cope!
