Panisse is an 11 years old cat, who has been mistreated. His former owners hit him with a broom! The poor guy is traumatized and remains very fearful since...

2. Because of a virus that attacks his gums, he can't chew without suffering...

Panisse has the calicivirus. His gums are so inflamed that he cries out in pain when he has to chew to eat. This can't go on, he suffers too much!

3. With canned food, he could regain his strength without suffering too much

Canned food would help Panisse get back to eating without too much pain. As they are easy to ingest, they do not need to be chewed.

Such a high quality food would also perhaps give him back his taste for life, and would certainly give him back his confidence.
