1. He was going to the butcher shop...

Shaun is a ten year old sheep, who was culled from the cheese factory because he was too old. The poor thing was going to the butcher shop, where he was to be killed for his meat.

2. He is very skinny!

As he got older, Shaun became thinner and thinner. He absolutely has to gain weight again, or he might become very vulnerable.

3. Pellets would help him gain weight

If Shaun were given pellets rich enough in vitamins, he would have plenty of energy. This would definitely help him gain weight, so he wouldn't be in danger of losing his health.

4. We don't have any subsidy!

With the start of the school year, educational work groups are starting up again in the schools. This limits the damage a little, but it is far from enough! Without any subsidy, it is very complicated to feed all the animals that rely on us...
