Blind, White also has neurological and pulmonary problems that complicate his daily life...

1. He is blind and has neurological problems...

White is a 25-year-old horse, who is blind. Unfortunately, he can't be operated on because he has neurological problems: he tends to forget where he is and goes round in circles. Only an emergency (e.g. a necrotic eyeball) would justify an operation.

2. He has breathing problems!

White has emphysema. When it's too hot, he sometimes has attacks... He then needs to go to a clinic for a few days to be put on oxygen.

To prevent him from breathing dust, we only take him out in the meadow at night, and he spends his days in a well ventilated box.

3. With pellets, he would regain his strength before winter

Winter is approaching, and with it, very harsh temperatures for horses. Humidified pellets would be perfect to allow White to recover without aggravating his health problems. This would help him get through this period more serenely.

4. Rescues are multiplying!

There is very little money coming in, but lots of animals to take in. In two days, we have taken in no less than 6 horses! People don't have the means to manage their animals anymore...

Unfortunately, the donations are very sporadic and are far from enough to allow us to buy food for all our boarders.
