Thinness, respiratory insufficiency, damaged feet: the poor Black accumulates health problems!

1. He suffers from respiratory problems...

Black is a 15 year old horse, that we got back after his owner died. He was abandoned in a meadow, and had been without care for some time: his hooves were very long.

Black had a pneumonia badly taken care of several years ago, which was reactivated recently, when he changed environment. As a result, he had to spend 19 days in the clinic, including 10 days on oxygen to treat his respiratory failure. He must now stay in the open air, to avoid breathing dust...

2. He is very skinny!

Black is unfortunately very skinny: he is missing no less than 150 kg! It is absolutely necessary that he gains weight quickly.

3. With pellets, he would regain his strength before winter

Winter is approaching, and with it, very harsh temperatures for horses. Moistened pellets will allow Black to fill up on energy, without any risk to his health. This would allow him to gain weight before the winter season.

4. 4. The number of animals rescued is increasing!

There is very little money coming in, but a lot of animals to take in. In two days, we have taken in no less than 6 horses! People don't have the means to manage their animals anymore...

Unfortunately, the donations are very sporadic and are far from enough to allow us to buy food for all our residents.
