Orgueil has tumors that could develop into cancer at any time!

1. She was left behind...

Orgueil is a 26 years old mare, who was born in Belgium. She spent some time with a vet who didn't take care of her. She was left abandoned in a meadow, to make foals.

Her hooves were very long and she was very skinny. So a breeder took her in to get her back on her feet. But today, he does not have the means to take care of her anymore. So he entrusted her to us.

2. She has tumors!

Orgueil has sarcoid tumors (one on her head, the other on her leg). We have an ointment to apply to her.

We have to prevent the tumour from growing too fast, because it could turn into cancer... but lately, the masses have grown a lot. We are worried!

3. With pellets, she would get her strength back before winter

Winter is coming, and with it, very harsh temperatures for horses. Pellets rich in vitamins would be perfect for Orgueil to get back in shape. She, who is already fragile, would then go through this period more serenely.

4. More and more animals are being taken in!

There is very little money coming in, but a lot of animals to take care of. In two days, we have taken in no less than 6 horses! People don't have the means to manage their animals anymore...

Unfortunately, the donations are very sporadic and are far from enough to allow us to buy food for all our residents.
