Fierce and slimmed down, Ruby needs to regain her confidence and put on some weight!

1. His hooves were in bad shape...

Ruby is a 10 year old donkey, who was in an educational facility that was about to close. When we took him in, his hooves were in bad shape, as he had been left without care for some time. A farrier took him in hand, and he is better today.

2. He is skinny!

When he first arrived, Ruby was very skinny and very fearful. Even today, he is still very underweight... His nervousness must not be helping his condition.

3. Pellets would help him gain weight

To gain back the weight she is missing, Ruby will need pellets. Feeding him such a vitamin-rich diet will help him regain his strength quickly. It would also be an opportunity for us to build up his confidence again, so that he can be calmer.

4. Donations are almost non-existent...

Our association still receives very few donations, and has still not been able to make collections in stores. It is absolutely necessary that we recover funds, because we do not have any more the means to buy grain with our equids... They however badly need it with the upcoming winter!
