1. She had a big heart problem...

Nikita is a 22 years old pony, that we took in a few months ago, because her owner could not take care of her anymore.

A couple of weeks ago, Nikita had a cardiac oedema: she had a fever, was not moving anymore... The vet was able to take care of her in time, but she still lost a lot of weight.

2. Pellets would help her gain weight

To recover from her swelling and regain her strength, Nikita will need pellets. A diet rich in vitamins would certainly help her regain weight.

3. Donations are almost non-existent...

Our association still receives very few donations, and has still not been able to make collections in stores. It is absolutely necessary that we recover funds, because we do not have any more the means to buy grain with our equids... They however badly need it with the upcoming winter!
