Very skinny because of an illness, Caramel will need to regain his strength!

1. A disease makes him lose weight and makes him vulnerable...

Caramel is a cat of about 5 years old, that we picked up in a shopping area. As he is very fearful, he cannot live in a house. So we placed him in a secure outdoor enclosure.

The poor guy tested positive for FIV: his immune defenses, less effective, no longer protect him sufficiently from diseases. Because of this, he also lost weight.

2. Blankets would keep him warm this fall

With blankets, Caramel would be less at the mercy of the cold and drafts. He could be comfortable and still be warm.

3. Our resources are desperately empty!

We have not been able to resume in-store collections, as all slots are already taken. Membership and donations are at a standstill... With all the sick kittens we had to care for and feed this summer, our coffers are empty!
