"Our association is currently taking care of more than 450 free cats. A dozen volunteers are usually in charge of supplying 15 different feeding sites with kibble. But the situation is getting really hard, because we have no stock left!
The volunteers have to buy the kibble with their own money, while the economic crisis affects them too. There are so many cats that we can't feed them all!
We are forced to ration them or to give them pasta, because we can't afford to buy anything else... Soon, we won't be able to give them anything at all, because our personal budgets are reaching their limit.

2. Emaciated and in bad shape, Nœinœil had to be enucleated... wWith the arrival of winter and considering his condition, we fear his handicap will be fatal for him!
"Nœinœil is a 2 or 3 -year-old free cat. A short time ago, his eye was gouged out after a fight... The dirt then started to lodge in his eye socket, threatening to necrotize. We had to have him operated to suture the wound. But since then, Nœinœil is only a shadow of his former self...
He can't get used to this new handicap and his reduced field of vision. He is weakened and has lost considerable weight. With the cold temperatures just around the corner, we fear that he will not manage to survive if we do not have any kibble to give him!"
3. Many cats are injured and sick... the veterinary expenses are enormous, but the association does not receive any help!
"Abandonment is becoming more and more frequent: the number of street cats is constantly increasing. Many of them are sick because of the cold, or are injured and need care. Between the surgeries and the medication, the veterinary expenses have heavily impacted our budget these last months...
Unfortunately, we do not have any subsidy, and the online fundraisers we launch are not successful. In this situation, it is impossible for us to find the funds to buy kibble for the cats."
4. Street cats are victims of poisoning and are sometimes shot if they look for food!
"Starved and weakened by the cold, the free cats are likely to start scavenging, and disturb the inhabitants.
Yet we are in an area where people do not hesitate to poison cats that bother them, or shoot them... We cannot let such a catastrophe happen!"
