1. In Serbia, Kristina can no longer buy kibble for the 350 dogs in her shelter. They will starve if nobody does anything!
"As I barely have enough kibble to feed the 350 dogs in the shelter, I have been forced to reduce the portions of kibble for the past two months. The dogs don't eat as much as they should, but I have no other choice, and that breaks my heart!
There are more and more dogs, and since the pandemic, no more volunteers come to help me. The shelter is in a very bad state but I am alone to take care of absolutely everything... Nobody helps me and if I wasn't there, the dogs would starve, they depend on me to survive.
The situation is serious and I really need help to feed the dogs this winter..."
2. It is already cold in Serbia! Without kibbles, the dogs will not survive the winter...
"The situation is going to get even worse as winter is fast approaching. It's getting colder and colder, and I don't have enough kennels and blankets to protect all the dogs. They will have to face the sub-zero temperatures, so they absolutely have to eat every day to survive.
If I don't find a way to get food quickly, the dogs may get cold, sick or even fight. When the dogs are hungry, they become nervous, aggressive, and there are so many dogs in the shelter that I can't afford to do that, I can't imagine the consequences...
I really hope that this campaign will be successful, because I'm running out of kibble. I want to make sure that every dog in my care is healthy and happy, as winter is the hardest time for them."
3. Skinny because of a illness, Strong needs to eat kibble to recover.
"Strong and his brother Hagen were found emaciated, tied by the neck to a tree. They both had signs of abuse! They were living in the rain and snow and without food.
Weakened by all this misery, Strong caught a disease after being bitten by a tick, so he needs to take medicine every day to get better.
He is in a very bad state, he needs to get his strength back to fight the disease because without kibble, the medicine will not be enough to cure him... He needs to eat well to get healthy again!"
4. Kristina has no more money to buy kibble, donations are becoming increasingly rare and the shelter is constantly filling up...
"Apart from the shelter, there are no public services to help abandoned animals. Even the shelter doesn't get enough funding from the city. I'm at the shelter day and night, but I just can't handle everything by myself. With winter coming I am very stressed because the situation will get worse.
I have many unpaid vet bills. Unfortunately, I still have to take the sick dogs there, some need surgery and some need medication. As I have no financial support, I have no way of paying...
The pandemic has really taken its toll on all of us. People are getting sick every day, they lose their jobs, they have less money... Animals are being pushed into the background. Few people care and even if some do, they don't have the resources to help us. I have tried many options and nothing has worked. I'm really out of options and today I mostly need help getting kibble."
5. Kristina isn't asking to receive any money, only kibbles to keep the dogs from starving.
"From the beginning, the shelter was run by volunteers, because the city wouldn't help us. I am the only one left now, but I could never leave these dogs behind. Luckily Nobody's Dog France supports me because I couldn't do it without them.
Today, I am extremely sad and tired. I feel that no matter how hard I try, people don't help me. I have been doing this for a while now, but the way some people behave with their dogs always breaks my heart.
I am exhausted and unhappy, but if I stop now, the shelter will cease to function, there would be no one left to save the tortured and sick dogs. These animals have done nothing wrong, they just want to be loved and they really deserve it! My love for these dogs is the only thing that keeps me going. I am the only person the dogs have and I will never give them up."

Apart from Nobody's Dog France, no other organisation supports me, and as I am alone to do everything I have no time to try to find new partnerships. Donations are very rare and despite all my efforts, the city does not want to help the shelter any more. This campaign is my only hope..."
