Abused, Galant spent three years locked in a stable, where he had to feed on brambles!

1. He was locked in a stable in terrible conditions!

Galant is a 5 year old horse, who was mistreated. Following an injury when he was 2 years old, his owners locked him in a stable and left him there with only water. The poor thing had to feed on brambles and nettles to survive, for 3 years!

2. He is still suffering from severe physical and psychological after-effects...

Because of this terrible experience, Galant is wild and very shy. He is not used to walking as he was locked up, he tends to wobble to move. He has been with us for 4 months now, and is starting to trot timidly...

3. Pellets would help him to regain his condition and confidence

With pellets rich in vitamins, Galant would be able to regain his strength and gain muscle mass. Such a diet would be a big change from what he's been used to, and would certainly bring him great comfort!

4. There is no way out !

We have had a lot of rescues all at once. In total we are managing 40 horses! There are a lot of vet bills and feed purchases... We just don't get by!
