Due to a malformation, Safira had her eye removed...

1. She was found outside, sick...

Safira is a 5 months old female cat, that we took in following a report. She was outside, malnourished and skinny, when she was only 2 months old.

She was also very ill: she suffered from conjunctivitis and coryza. Today, in spite of the treatments, she continues to sneeze and have a runny nose...

2. One of her eyes had to be removed!

Safira had a deformity in one eye: it was smaller than the other and could cause her pain. We waited to see if it would get better as she grew, but it didn't. So we had to enucleate it. She now only has one eye left!

3. Canned food adapted to the kittens would help her to gain weight

To gain weight and finish her growth more normally, Safira will need canned food. Specially adapted for kittens, this kind of food would be perfect for her!

4. Our association is very new and does not receive any help!

Most of the cats we take care of are sick. Some are under treatment for life, and will never be adopted...

We have to manage everything alone financially, because our association is recent and we have no help. With more than 6 000 euros of veterinary expenses for this year, we can't face it alone!
