1. In France, Rose Marie has no kibble left to feed the 120 free cats that rely on her... The poor cats might starve if no one helps!

"Our association currently feeds nearly 120 street cats, spread over a dozen feeding sites. Unfortunately, donations are rare and insufficient. In 2021 alone, we had 12,000 euros in veterinary expenses!

We have to finance everything with our personal income, but again this is not enough. Feeding 120 cats represents a huge amount of money per year... We can't keep up with it! We are really struggling to buy kibble.

With the cold weather that intensifies at night, the cats need to eat more than ever. We give them pasta to compensate, but it is not an adapted food for them... We fear they will become even more fragile and won't survive the cold!

2. Diseases, accidents, acts of vandalism... The free cats live in harsh conditions. They are more and more vulnerable !

"Cats living on the street are constantly faced with danger. Just last week, one of the cats was found dead after being hit by a speeding car... Unfortunately, this happens regularly.

Some diseases like typhus or coryza decimate the colonies... As if that was not enough, ill-intentioned people come and destroy the few shelters we have installed, or steal our kennels... "

3. The number of street cats is increasing, but the association has less and less means... They're reaching a dead-end!

"Because of COVID, it has become very difficult to set up in-store collections, as all slots are taken. Health regulations also prevent us from organizing bingo events.

Our actions are greatly impacted by all these blockages, and there is no more money in the association's account. Since people have less financial means, they also donate much less. We don't have enough members...

In spite of all this, we need to act now more than ever: there have been many abandonments, especially of unsterilized cats. The number of free cats is constantly increasing. We have already had more than 30 kittens adopted and there are still at least as many left on the street... But how can we help them if we don't have any kibble for them?"

4. Rose-Marie isn't asking for money, only kibble to prevent the cats from starving!

"I have been personally involved in the animal cause for 4 years. Feeding, catching, treating... it all takes a lot of time!

Our president takes care of the cats from morning to night. As for me, I rush to do the feeding rounds as soon as I get off work. It's very demanding but the cats count on us!
