Poor Captain has a sunken rib cage... his organs don't have room to develop normally!

1. He has a thoracic malformation...

Captain is a 4 and a half month old kitten, whose rib cage is sunken. His organs have less room to develop properly and his heart beats very fast.

Unfortunately, no operation is possible. We can only wait until he has reached his adult size and take another X-ray to see if it has improved. Only then could he be out of the woods...

2. Blankets would keep him warm

With blankets, Captain could keep himself nice and warm, until hopefully he gets better and better. With winter coming, he definitely needs to be kept out of the cold!
