Following a head infection, poor Gaïa had to be operated...

1. A wound became infected, forcing her to undergo emergency surgery!

Gaïa is a 6 years old cat, that we found one day with a head that had doubled in size. This reaction came from a wound that had become infected.

She had to be operated on quickly. It was about ten days ago... Gaïa is now in convalescence. She will need time to recover!

2. To recover, she will need canned food

To recover from her injury and her surgery, Gaïa will need canned food. This would be an opportunity for her to regain her strength and get better and better.

3. We don't have any funding!

Without a grant and with about 50 cats to manage, the situation is complicated for the association. To pay all the veterinary expenses and to find the funds to buy food is harder and harder ...
