Overweight and with a deformed leg, poor Matelot couldn't run away from the cars that were having fun running over him...

1. He is one of the only survivors of a site where evil people were driving over cats....

Matelot is around 10 years old, we found him while he was living on a very dangerous site. For a few weeks, cats were found dead, run over by cars. When we heard about this story, we went there.

We took Matelot to safety, as he is overweight and has a deformed leg, and could not run as fast as the other cats to get away from the cars.

2. Blankets would keep Matelot warm this winter

With fleece blankets that would keep him warm, Matelot wouldn't have to worry about the cold this winter. After all he's been through, a little comfort would be soothing for him!

3. We are short of money, but winter is coming!

Winter is coming: the cats will need blankets more than ever to keep them warm.

But donations are very scarce and we can't organize in-store collections. We don't know where to find the money to help the cats who are counting on us!
