Very skinny, Peggy suffers from a renal insufficiency which prevents her from even licking herself so much she is weakened...

1. A kidney problem makes her lose weight...

Peggy is a ten years old cat, that we took in when she was still a kitten.

The poor girl is suffering from renal insufficiency: her kidneys do not ensure anymore their function of elimination of toxins. Peggy has lost a lot of weight. She can't lick herself anymore either, because her body is very tired from this health problem.

2. 2. With adapted canned food, she could regain her strength

Kidney-friendly canned food could help Peggy regain some of her weight. This would allow her to regain her energy without risking her health.

3. Nearly 80 cats are counting on us!

With about 40 cats in the shelter and at least as many outside, we are overwhelmed! Especially since the new requests for care continue... A little help would allow us to feed them all. With the winter, they need it !
