Locked up in the dark without enough food, Kaly developed cancer and liver problems...

1. She was living in a garage and is in bad shape

Kaly is a 15 year old dog, who was living in a garage where she spent most of her time. She was cruelly lacking in care and sufficient food: she is very skinny, her liver is out of order and her teeth are damaged!

2. She has lung problems...

Kaly has emphysema: her lungs do not function optimally anymore. She suffers from regular coughing fits.

3. She is almost blind!

Unfortunately, Kaly has a very large cataract. Her eyes have become so cloudy that she can hardly see anything.

4. Canned food would allow her to continue to gain weight

With nutrient-rich canned food, Kaly could continue to gain weight. It would be an opportunity for her to get her energy back, despite her multiple health problems.

5. Caring for senior animals is very expensive...

We care for 107 dogs and 26 cats. Many of the animals we take in come from abroad, from the street or from individuals. There are many requests, but we give priority to sick and elderly animals.

Most of them have suffered all their lives... so we want to bring them comfort and allow them to eat their fill. But all this has a cost: 50 000 euros of veterinary expenses last year alone!
